Are you a university student studying physiotherapy, exercise science, or a fitness-related degree and looking to gain real-world experience in a supportive and energetic environment? We're on the lookout for a group fitness instructor to join our team!

Function PCP Strathfield is looking for a motivated, coachable and passionate casual instructor to join our boutique team and help our members move better, feel stronger, and thrive.

We are a physio-led studio offering small group classes in Reformer Pilates, Strength & Conditioning, Trampoline HIIT, Aerial Yoga, and Recovery (Sauna & Ice Bath). You’ll be joining a team that values care, movement, and community.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead small group fitness classes (we’ll teach you everything you need to know!)
Create an energetic, motivating and safe class experience
Stay engaged and attentive with members: helping them move well and feel supported
Attend team meetings, trainings and workshops to keep growing as a trainer
Contribute to team culture, whether it’s content creation, covering shifts, or sharing ideas

💡 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Is currently studying exercise science, sports coaching, physio, or a similar degree
Can work at least 2 shifts weekly (~3 hours each shift)
Has some experience or strong interest in Pilates, gym training, or group coaching
Is open to feedback and keen to learn from experienced physios and instructors
Brings positive energy to every class and genuinely cares about people
Is a team player and ready to contribute beyond just showing up for shifts
