The role

This is a role for a passionate and skilled coach who thrives on developing potential. You will deliver high-quality coaching and mentoring, creating an engaging and structured environment where athletes can progress and perform at their best. Your ability to connect with students, foster a positive team culture, and drive consistent standards will be central to your success in this position.

Beyond coaching, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the program through the oversight of boatshed and fleet management. Ensuring equipment, logistics, and facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard, you will contribute to a seamless and high-quality rowing environment that reflects the excellence of Pymble Ladies’ College.

Willingness to support and promote the ethos and values of the College.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with, and motivate, young people.
Proven track record in coaching school-level rowing programs with a performance and development mindset.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence, or willingness to obtain.
Competence in basic to intermediate boat repairs, or willingness to develop these skills.
Demonstrate ability to tow trailers confidently and safely, or willingness to learn.
Proven capabilities in operating speedboats safely and responsibly desirable.
