Role Description

This on-site role, based in Victoria Point, QLD. We are looking for qualified Swim Instructors and Lifeguards.

The Swim Instructors will plan and deliver engaging swim lessons to people of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a positive learning experience.

The Lifeguard will actively monitor aquatic environments to ensure the safety of all participants, respond effectively to emergencies, and enforce safety rules and policies as required. Strong communication with team members and participants is essential in this role to maintain a safe and welcoming aquatic environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Swim Instruction and Swim Lessons, including experience in teaching individuals or groups of varying skill levels.
Strong skills in Swimming and Aquatics, with a solid understanding of safe swimming practices.
Certification and experience in Lifeguarding, including the ability to respond swiftly in emergency scenarios and enforce safety protocols effectively.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse range of participants of all ages.
Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifesaving.
AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher qualifications
Enthusiasm for promoting health and safety in aquatic environments with a community-focused mindset.
