About The Role
We are looking for an experienced supervisor to assist with the coordination of day to day operations of the Aqua Jetty’s aquatic facility, providing safe and customer focussed service delivery. This position provides leadership and direction to staff, ensuring that all areas of the aquatic facility are operating efficiently.
You will love interacting with members, patrons, staff and the wider community, promoting the Aqua Jetty as a safe and fun environment for everyone. Knowledgeable about aquatic emergency and evacuation procedures and experienced with life support equipment and you know that you can remain calm during stressful situations. You are an excellent communicator and have well developed interpersonal skills.
You must possess a current Aquatic Technical Operation Certificate, LIWA Accreditation, Pool Lifeguard Certificate, and up to date Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- A sound knowledge of aquatic facility operation, programming and marketing
- The ability to set priorities, manage time, coordinate resources and monitor performance
- Knowledge of Health and Dangerous Goods Regulations and WHS legislation relevant to the role
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to negotiate solutions to problems, and remain calm when dealing with complaints
What We Offer
The hourly rate for this position is as follows:
$42.40 per hour, plus superannuation
