About the Role
Are you passionate about sport and fitness — and eager to inspire the next generation of athletes, coaches, and fitness professionals?
We’re seeking an energetic, team player and motivated Sports & Fitness Trainer and Assessor to join our growing team at our Southport campus.
This position offers the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with ongoing professional development and career growth in a supportive, innovative workplace.
You’ll deliver engaging and practical training to local high school students, domestic learners, and international students across a range of courses, including:
- SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation
- SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness
- SIS50321 Diploma of Sport (Coaching)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess the above qualifications for domestic and international students.
- Assign and mark assessments using the GeSS Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain accurate student progress, attendance, and assessment records.
- Provide personalised academic support and constructive feedback.
- Participate in moderation and compliance processes to maintain quality standards.
Essential Criteria
- Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- Relevant VET qualifications in Sport, Fitness, or related disciplines (Certificate III or higher).
- Strong industry background with practical experience in the sport and fitness sector.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting students to achieve success.
