We have an exciting opportunity for a Remedial Massage Therapist to support our wide range of clients.
Integritas Allied Health is CatholicCare Sydney's clinic dedicated to providing an interprofessional allied health service that is person-centered. We deliver high-quality, evidence-based healthcare for children, families, young people, and adults with disabilities to help them achieve their goals.
As a
Remedial Massage Therapist you will provide professional massage treatments in aged care, home care, and community settings. Help clients manage pain, improve movement, reduce stress, and feel better physically and emotionally. Work closely with other health professionals to tailor care for older adults and people with disabilities, chronic conditions, or mobility challenges.
About The Role
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Empower clients through tailored care: Conduct in-depth assessments to design personalised massage treatment plans that truly meet everyone’s needs.
- Make a real difference with proven techniques: Apply evidence-based remedial massage practices to enhance musculoskeletal health and promote overall wellbeing.
- Champion inclusive care: Skilfully adapt treatments for clients with physical or cognitive challenges, including older adults and those living with disability or chronic conditions.
- Keep care consistent and professional: Maintain detailed, confidential records that track client progress and support continuity of care.
- Be part of a collaborative care network: Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and support staff to deliver holistic, integrated treatment.
- Educate and inspire: Share your knowledge with clients and carers, offering practical self-care strategies and highlighting the benefits of massage therapy.
- Prioritise safety and trust: Follow strict infection control procedures, uphold privacy standards, and contribute to a safe, respectful workplace.
- Create a welcoming environment: Ensure all equipment and treatment spaces are clean, organised, and ready to support high-quality care.
- Enjoy variety and flexibility: Travel to diverse settings—from private homes to aged care facilities and community health centres—bringing your expertise directly to those who need it most.

About You
To be a successful candidate you will have:
- Ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CatholicCare’s Mission, Vision and Values.
- Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015 or equivalent).
- Current professional membership with a recognised industry association (e.g. Massage & Myotherapy Australia, ATMS).
- Provider number eligibility with relevant health funds
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (for community/home care roles)
- Demonstrated experience in providing massage therapy to older adults or people with chronic health conditions
- Clear understanding of Disability Inclusion Act 2014 and NSW Disability Standards including evidence of completion of the NDIS Training Module: Quality, Safety and You.
- Hold Working with Children Check Clearance Verification Number and demonstrate an understanding of Child Protection Legislation.
- Clear understanding of NDIS or Aged Care funding models.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with First Nations and CALD colleagues and clients.
Desirable
- Previous experience in Aged Care, Home Care or Disability services.
- Knowledge of My Aged Care or NDIS service environments.
- Experience working with clients with Dementia or mobility impairments.
- Familiarity with electronic management systems.
