Ready to dive into a new opportunity? Council is seeking a leader who is passionate about aquatics to help run our local pools and create lasting memories for our community.
In This Role You Will
- Supervise and lead operations across four pools in Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood and Captains Flat, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and aquatic program delivery.
- Support with the operation and programming of Council’s swim school for all ages.
- Monitor and enforce safety, maintenance and cleaning measures across all regional pools to uphold a safe, welcoming and fun environment for customers.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience in recreation centre management, business, or management.
- Has good time management skills, to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge on WH&S processes and policies as well as emergency management protocols.
- Has proven leadership skills to motivate and supervise a large staff cohort.
- Possesses a Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Accreditation and Advance First Aid Certificate.
