Personal Trainer:
About the Role:
If you’re passionate about helping people live healthier, happier lives, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference. As a Personal Trainer with ACH Group, you’ll design and deliver exercise offerings that empower older people to stay active, reduce the impact of chronic disease, and enjoy life to the fullest.
This part‑time role (up to 3 days per week, with the option to flex up for cover shifts) offers variety across two key areas:
Healthia Residential Care: You’ll run our modern gym space and lead exercise classes within a home built on the revolutionary Green House model of care—an approach that puts residents’ wellbeing, autonomy, and connection at the centre of everything.
Northeastern Home Visits: You’ll also take your expertise into the community, visiting customers in their homes to deliver personalised exercise programs that meet them where they are.
What You’ll Do:
Support residents and customers to reach their fitness and health goals through tailored activities
Create engaging programs that inspire older people to stay active and confident
Facilitate individual and group exercise sessions as guided by an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Build strong relationships with customers, families, carers, and Allied Health professionals
Champion Healthy and Active Ageing across ACH Group
About You:
You’re a skilled, enthusiastic Personal Trainer who genuinely cares about helping older people live a Good Life. You bring energy, empathy, and a commitment to quality care.
You’ll also have:
Experience as a Personal Trainer (experience with older adults is highly valued)
Strong motivational and engagement skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Certificate III or IV in Personal Training
A police clearance less than 12 months old
A genuine passion for supporting older people
