About The Role
Ventia are currently seeking
an experienced Fitness Centre Attendant Supervisor to join our Defence Base Services team
in the Albury Wodonga Military Area.
Key Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Oversee the daily operations of the pool and gymnasium, ensuring compliance with water quality standards, safety protocols, and legislative requirements.
- Manage staff rosters, monitor absenteeism, and report issues.
- Supervising facility users, maintaining emergency response equipment, supporting Sport and Recreation compliance, and ensuring lifeguard coverage and safe practices in aquatic areas.
- Lead inspections, enforce site-specific instructions, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment for all users.
About You
- Experience in a similar supervisory role
- Level 1 First Aid Certificate
- Ability to administer oxygen in emergency situations
- Proven ability to manage rosters and staff performance
- Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License & own transport to drive across sites.
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check
