PHYSIOTHERAPIST FULL TIME:

Where:
FullLife Physio in the Northern Beaches of Cairns, has two clinics; one is in the heart of the tourist town of Palm Cove in Far North Queensland, Australia and the second nearby in Smithfield QLD which is a demographic and shopping hub on the Northern Beaches of Cairns. Palm Cove & Smithfield have many other tourist beach towns nearby, and only 20 minutes from an International & Domestic Airport, 25 minutes from the hub of Cairns which is a classic regional city in Australia. Only 45 minutes’ drive to nearby Port Douglas.
The Northern Beaches is not only a stone-throw from the Great Barrier Reef but numerous islands to explore under-water activities such as diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing and get to swim with turtles. The area has many other areas to explore; the Atherton tablelands, the Daintree Rainforest and multiple other tourist attractions keeping locals busy with mountain biking, 4WD exploring and tramping. The population of patients are of all ages and many are very activity & sports focussed.
The Practice:
The practice was established just over 3 years ago and is growing quickly. Presently 3 full-time and 1 part-time Physio's already busy. Reception team between the two clinics. We need another Physio to join our friendly team. Our focus is on professional, patient-centred care, evidence-based treatment approaches and a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on Sports & Manipulative Physiotherapy. The case load is a healthy mix of Musculoskeletal; headaches, neck & back, shoulders, knees, ankles, hips and post-operative rehabilitation (especially Total Knee Replacement). Mentoring, coaching and clinical education is also a focus; fortnightly team Clinical Education sessions and on the other fortnights, 1 hour one-to-one with the practice principal who is post-graduate educated in both Sports Physio & Manipulative Physio, discussing case studies, patient challenges and meeting individual clinical education needs for each clinician.
Who are we looking for?
You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing and treating clients with various musculoskeletal conditions. You may, if interested in gaining valuable Sports Physio experience, commence immediately working with an AFL Football Club for maximum 10hrs per week with guidance and support from the experienced Practice Principal who is a post-graduate trained Sports & Manipulative Physiotherapist. You will work full time in the musculoskeletal focused practice. You will build meaningful relationships with the club management and senior players and subsequently with clients of the practice under the guidance of the Principal Physiotherapist. § Weekly 1:1 clinical training and mentoring sessions
§ Monthly in-services
§ An annual CPD allowance of $5,000 pa
· Annual Salary $70,000 - $90,000 depending on level of experience
· Superannuation at Government Guarantee level of 11%

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver healthcare to an excellent standard at the club at training sessions and on game day with the senior teams
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with players and clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and continue to support the relationships we have in the community
- Participate in regular education sessions and stay up to date with the latest evidence-based treatment approaches
Qualities and Qualifications we are looking for:
- Appropriate qualification in Physiotherapy.
- AHPRA Registration & Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Work VISA/Residency Status to be authorised to work in Australia
- Desire to be an excellent physiotherapist who is continually learning through commitment to professional development.
- Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative team.
