Presbyterian Ladies’ College (PLC) is a leading ELC to Year 12 independent day and boarding school, focusing on the development of the whole person. The College has an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook, and robust pastoral and co-curricular programs.
The Role
The PLC Joan Montgomery Centre is committed to providing educational programs which aim to develop competency in the lifelong skills of swimming, water safety and survival, health and physical activity in aquatic environments whilst focusing on participation and having fun.
We are currently inviting applications from candidates with relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety.
Opportunities on offer are casual. Hours of work include morning and afternoon / evening shifts, spread across Monday to Saturday.
ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about the education of swimming, water safety and survival skills in children of all ages, understanding their unique needs at each age and stage. Your exceptional customer service skills make it easy for you to liaise with a wide range of people from various backgrounds.
You are a strong team player and mentor with demonstrated professionalism, reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude to your work.
Essential to this role are current AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia/LSV Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications, as well as First Aid/Perform CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates.
