Description
Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in The Hills Shire Council area, is looking for an experienced Permanent Part Time Aquatic Programs Assistant to join our team. The complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area, and a fully equipped fitness centre. What Does This Role Look Like
- Assist in coordinating swim school bookings and customer enquiries for aquatic programs.
- Supervise on pool deck and ensure smooth delivery of all lessons being conducted on shift.
- Instruct swimming lessons and coach swimming.
- Carry out all legitimate requests for assistance from the Aquatic Programs Officer.
- Assist with direct debit enrolment processing for the swim school
What Are We Seeking
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Austswim Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety Certificate
- First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Working with children check.
