About the Role
This is a leadership + revenue-driving role, not just coaching.
You will:
- Lead the studio operationally and commercially
- Deliver Pilates or Gymnastics sessions (primary skill)
- Be trained in Bungee Fitness (mandatory progression)
- Drive membership growth, retention, and revenue
- Manage staff, scheduling, and studio performance
You are effectively accountable for end-to-end studio performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching & Program Delivery
- Deliver high-quality Pilates OR Gymnastics sessions
- Learn and deliver Bungee Fitness (training provided)
- Ensure safe, structured, progressive classes
- Adapt sessions across mixed ability groups
2. Studio Operations
- Manage class schedules (AM + PM essential)
- Fill in for trainers where you are unable to schedule a trainer
- Maintain high class utilisation
- Ensure studio presentation and systems are maintained
- Oversee daily operations without supervision
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, roster, and manage trainers
- Drive accountability and performance culture
- Assist recruitment and onboarding
4. Growth & Sales
- Convert enquiries into memberships
- Build referral pathways and local partnerships
- Drive studio visibility and engagement
- Implement promotions and campaigns
5. KPI Accountability
Measured weekly/monthly on:
- Attendance rates
- New memberships
- Retention rates
- Revenue growth
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory
- Qualification in Pilates OR Gymnastics coaching
- Experience delivering group classes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable with sales + KPIs
- Availability mornings and evenings
Highly Desirable
- Experience managing a gym/studio
- Understanding of membership-based business models
- Confidence with targets, reporting, and performance tracking
