ARC Athletic is a purpose-built youth performance facility focused on long-term athletic development, injury resilience, and high-quality coaching for members aged 8–18. We deliver structured, evidence-based programs across strength, speed, and conditioning.
We are seeking a Performance Coach / Personal Trainer to join our team.
Role Overview
This is a casual position (10–20 hours per week) with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering structured group sessions, supporting individual member development, and maintaining a high standard of coaching, safety, and engagement on the gym floor.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coached group sessions (strength, speed, conditioning)
Supervise and support members during Open Gym sessions
Coach movement quality, technique, and progression across all ability levels
Implement structured programs aligned with long-term athletic development principles
Build rapport with members and contribute to a positive, high-performance environment
Ensure safe training practices and adherence to facility standards
Essential Requirements
Minimum Certificate IV in Fitness
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid & CPR
Strong understanding of exercise technique and coaching fundamentals
Ability to coach and engage youth (8–18 years)
Desirable
Degree (or currently studying – 3rd year or above) in Sport & Exercise Science or related field
Experience in strength & conditioning or youth athletic development
Interest in performance testing, injury prevention, and long-term development models
