The role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Site Supervisor Swim School to lead the daily operations of our Swim School programs at Canterbury Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, safe and engaging programs while supporting a team of instructors and duty staff. You will also play a key role in promoting our Swim School, driving participation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinate daily Swim School operations at Canterbury Leisure and Aquatic Centre.
- Supervise instructors, duty managers and deck supervisors to ensure quality and safety.
- Maintain Swim School records, systems and customer information.
- Support program development, including school programs and holiday activities.
- Assist in recruiting, training and mentoring staff.
- Respond to customer feedback and maintain high service standards.
- Achieve occupancy and performance targets.
- Promote the program and uphold the CBCity Swim School brand.

You will have:
- Royal Life Saving Australia, Austswim or Swim Australia qualification in Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
- Senior First Aid Certificate and current CPR.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large-scale swim programs.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management ability.
- High-level customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.
Desirable criteria includes assessing or coaching qualifications and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at
$82,701 per annum (Grade F, Step 1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
