About the Opportunity
At Club Crux, we're searching for an experienced, data-driven coach with a relentless growth mindset.
You're someone who swears by the numbers — tracking, measuring, and refining your approach based on what the data tells you. You understand that sustainable client results come from evidence-based programming combined with the ability to read the room, adapt on the fly, and meet each client exactly where they are.
We need a coach who can seamlessly shift gears between personalities — whether that's a high-strung CEO who needs structure, a burnt-out professional craving empathy, or a complete new-comer starting from scratch.
Above all, you're a true collaborator. You thrive in a tight-knit team environment where ideas are shared openly, feedback is welcomed, and everyone is committed to raising the bar together.
Roles & Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering individualised, periodised programs grounded in measurable data and clear progressions across macro and mesocycles.
- Coaching clients to build strength, improve body composition, elevate performance, and prevent or manage injuries—adapting your approach based on their unique needs and personality.
- Leading new client onboarding, including movement screenings, fitness assessments, and foundational nutrition and lifestyle consulting.
- Converting client goals into committed sales by confidently prescribing premium, 5-figure programs that deliver transformative outcomes and backing those commitments up with consistent, measurable results.
- Leveraging data from assessments, training logs, and client feedback to continuously refine and optimise programming.
- Collaborating closely with our coaching team and trusted allied health partners (physiotherapists, osteopaths, dietitians) to deliver holistic client outcomes.
- Coaching in both private and semi-private formats (4:1) while maintaining a highly personalised, attentive experience.
- Contributing ideas, insights, and innovations that push our coaching standards forward.
- Living and embodying our company values both inside and outside the gym.
Who You Are
You bring:
- 5+ years' experience as a Personal Trainer, Exercise Scientist, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, or Strength & Conditioning Coach.
- A data-driven approach — you track metrics, analyse trends, and let the numbers inform your decision-making without losing sight of the human in front of you.
- A strong growth mindset — you're constantly learning, seeking feedback, and looking for ways to improve your craft.
- Exceptional adaptability — you can read a client's mood, energy, and communication style, then adjust your coaching to match their needs in real time.
- Proven ability to coach clients managing high stress, acute, or chronic injuries while still delivering powerful results.
- Extensive experience in habit-based coaching to drive sustainable lifestyle change beyond the gym floor.
- Sound knowledge of nutrition coaching principles (preferred, but not essential—we can support upskilling).
- A true team player mindset — you actively contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture and value the expertise of those around you.
