About The Role
We are looking for a casual Head Swim Coach to:
- Develop, deliver and coordinate a broad range of innovative and effective swimming squad-based programs catering from development to competitive squad level
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Swim Coach team to ensure a highly motivated, safe and friendly environment for program participants.
To thrive in the role, you will be able to provide a range of squad programs that meet the community’s needs and provide leadership, motivation and coordination to the Swim Coach team.

- Eagle Vale Central
- Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre and Macquarie Fields Fitness and Indoor Sports Centre
- Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Considerable demonstrated experience in coaching squad swimmer from development to competitive levels and national level swimmers.
- Have demonstrated experience in leading, coordinating and supporting a team of swim coaches.
- Have demonstrated experience in planning special events and/or competitions both internal and external.
- Have demonstrated experience in motoring expenditure and income for squad programs.
- Possess a current Swim Australia Advanced Coaching Certificate, equivalent or higher.
- Possess a current Advanced Coach Accreditation, equivalent or higher.
- Possess a current Silver Coach ASCTA Membership.
- Possess a current Bronze Medallion Certificate.
- Possess a current First Aid Certificate.
- Current and cleared Working With Children Check with Services NSW.
- Knowledge of relevant computer software applications and demonstrated computer skills.
- Willingness to work a roster with early start and late finish shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

As a member of our friendly and passionate team, you’ll receive the following benefits:
- Base hourly rate starting from $36.75 - $39.79 + casual loading + superannuation
- Weekend penalties (+25% Saturdays and +50% Sundays) + Public Holiday penalties (when applicable)
