Campbelltown City Council is looking for our next generation of Learn to Swim Instructors to join our leisure team!

About The Opportunity
To thrive in this role, you will have a positive attitude, versatility and a willingness to teach learn to swim classes.
This is an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic people of all ages, who are passionate about leisure services and looking for flexible work.
Council will cover all costs to get you qualified with an industry recognised qualification and Resuscitation certificates if required. You will be required to undertake approximately 20 hours of practical training, which will be completed at our leisure centres in early 2026.

- The Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre

- Trainee casual rate of $36.40 per hour (inclusive of 25% loading)
- Certified casual rate of $43.76 per hour (inclusive of 25% loading)
- Weekend penalty rates as applicable
- 12% superannuation
- Casual employment opportunity
- Flexible shift options (mornings, afternoon and weekends).

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- Be available to complete qualified Swimming Instructor qualification and on the job training.
- Be available to complete approximately 20 hours practical training hours or till deemed competent.
- Successfully complete the training and assessments.
- Possess effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
- Be a minimum age of 16 years due to course pre-requisite requirements
