About The Role
Our Sequence Trainers are the heart and energy of the Upstate instructor team. Your mission? To build and inspire the most skilled, high-performing instructors in the industry, delivering that signature Upstate experience every single time.
You’ll lead from the front: recruiting, training, and mentoring our team across every touchpoint of the member journey. You’ll bring the energy, connection, and quality we’re known for, setting the standard for what exceptional looks like. You’ll champion growth and development, so our team keeps improving, evolving, and inspiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Upstate mission and values in everything you do, leading by example and setting the benchmark for excellence across for our instructor team.
- Conduct instructor interviews to identify and select talent that aligns with the Upstate brand, values, and culture.
- Deliver Upstate Intensive Trainings (UIT) with excellence and integrity, empowering instructors to perform at their best and uphold the Upstate standard at every stage of the member journey.
- Provide mentoring and ongoing feedback that empowers instructors to reach their full potential and consistently perform at a high level and excel in delivering the Upstate experience.
- Develop high-quality training content and resources, from videos and written guides to live workshops, that upskills our team and keeps them inspired.
- Collaborate on developing new class styles and formats as required and play an active role in the implementation.
- Support new studio launches, leading trainings, mentoring teams, and setting them up for success (interstate travel may be required).
- Be a true team player, flexible, collaborative, and ready to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
- Act as an ambassador for the Upstate brand, representing us at events, PR opportunities, and photoshoots with professionalism.
- Contribute to content creation for Upstate marketing and PR initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, always looking for ways to elevate performance, innovation, and the Upstate experience.
