5 Hounds is a veterinary-founded fresh food company on a mission to help dogs live longer.
We’ve seen firsthand, in clinic and at home, the power of real food. The improvements in skin, digestion, energy and long-term health are undeniable. Yet the majority of dogs are still being fed ultra-processed diets and managed reactively, rather than proactively.
We believe the industry has it backwards.
So we built something different… lightly cooked, species-appropriate meals, backed by veterinary insight and delivered directly to dog owners across Australia.
But 5 Hounds is more than food.
It’s a movement around education, community and raising the standard of care for dogs.
We are product-obsessed. We care deeply. And we’re just getting started.

The Role
This is not your typical customer service role.
You will be the front line of 5 Hounds, guiding customers through nutrition, transitions and real-life health challenges.
You’ll combine empathy with clinical thinking, helping dog owners feel supported, educated and confident in their decisions.
What you’ll do
- Respond to customer enquiries across email, chat, phone and social platforms
- Support dogs transitioning onto fresh food (including fussy eaters and sensitive guts)
- Provide guidance around feeding plans, portions and product selection
- Troubleshoot common issues (loose stools, appetite changes, weight concerns)
- Educate customers on longevity, gut health and real food feeding
- Work closely with Dr Will and Dr Sienna on more complex cases
- Turn everyday conversations into meaningful customer experiences
