Graduate and Early Career Physiotherapist – Structured Mentoring + Real Support
Let’s be honest…
Starting your first physio job can feel overwhelming.
- Am I doing the right thing?
- What if I miss something?
- What if I’m thrown in too quickly?
At Physio Group South-West, we’ve built a graduate program designed to remove that pressure — and help you actually enjoy your first year.
🌱 What your first few months will feel like:
- You won’t be thrown in the deep end
- You’ll have time to think, learn, and ask questions
- You’ll have someone in your corner every week
👩⚕️ What support actually looks like:
- Weekly 1:1 mentoring with a senior physio
- Monthly mentoring with the Practice Principal
- A “buddy” physio who has just been through it
- Gradual caseload build (not sink or swim)
- 40-minute appointments (yes, even follow-ups)
- Weekly allocated time for:
- Client calls
- Letters
- Learning (our 0–100 program)
📚 Your development (this is where we stand out):
- 80+ hours PD in your first year
- Weekly 2-hour internal PD
- External courses fully paid (Dry Needling, Pilates + more)
- Surgery observation + real-world exposure
- Clinical Edge + Physitrack subscriptions
🌿 And outside of work?
No traffic.
Short commutes.
Bush, trails, and a team that actually enjoys life together.
💬 What our grads say:
“I feel like I hit the jackpot… I’m supported every day and actually love coming to work.”
🎯 Who this is perfect for:
- New grads (or up to 2 years out) wanting more support
- Physios wanting to transition to Private Practice
- Someone who wants guidance, not pressure
- Someone who wants to become a great physio — not just survive
