NANTUCKET AQUATICS ASSISTANT SWIM COACH
REPORTS TO: Head Swim Coach
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a part-time, year-round position up to 19 hours per week. The hourly rate is $25 to $35 per hour for coaching commensurate with experience.
JOB SUMMARY: The assistant coach will work alongside the head swim coach to oversee practices and travel swim meets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both beginner and advanced-level swimmers. The swim season runs from September to July, with practices after school from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Additionally, applicants must be willing to work Saturday hours and travel to monthly off-island competitions.
QUALIFICATIONS: ? Background in competitive swimming ? Experience coaching competitive swimming ? Experience working with youth athletes ? Lifeguard and CPR certified (or willingness to obtain) ? USS Coaching Certification (or willingness to obtain)
