Role Description
This is an on-site role based in Reservoir and Maidstone, VIC, for a Swim Instructor. The Swim Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging swim lessons for children of all skill levels, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment. Responsibilities include assessing swimmers' abilities, monitoring safety, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a clean and well-prepared swimming area. Instructors will also foster confidence and enjoyment of swimming among students.
Qualifications
- Skills in Swim Instruction and conducting Swim Lessons
- Proficiency in Swimming and Aquatics techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and their families
- Relevant swim instruction certifications (e.g., AUSTSWIM or equivalent)
- Extension qualifications are an advantage
- CPR certification
- First Aid is an advantage
- Commitment to safety, patience, and the ability to motivate learners
