About the role:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetics services across acute, outpatient, and community settings to patients throughout Central Queensland, while working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Manage a diverse clinical workload with growing autonomy, applying sound clinical judgement to deliver person-centred care and achieve the best outcomes for patients and their families.
- Play an active role in providing clinical education and supervision to students, junior staff, and assistants, helping to develop the next generation of dietitians while contributing to service improvement and quality initiatives.
- Actively contribute to service development, research, and continuous learning in a positive, supportive environment that values professional growth and teamwork.
About you:
- Holding a current tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised institution and have eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status is mandatory for this position.
- While not mandatory, having relevant postgraduate qualifications in relevant practice areas would be highly regarded
- You will bring strong clinical knowledge and skills in contemporary dietetic practice, with the ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care across varied settings.
- You're a strong team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary team - communicating effectively with patients, families and colleagues, while confidently managing a diverse workload and contributing to service improvements and ongoing professional growth.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $79,540 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
