About the role: Boutique Fitness Studios is seeking an experienced and results-driven Studio Manager to oversee the complete operations of our fitness studio.
The A Studio Manager is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and member experience of the studio. The role blends leadership, sales, customer service, and operational management to ensure the studio runs efficiently and meets business targets. The job and duties are as follows, but not limited to: Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the range and scheduling of Fitness classes to meet member needs and business objectives.
- Implement promotional initiatives and community events to attract and retain members.
- Drive membership sales, renewals, and retention strategies.
- Monitor studio financial performance, including revenue reports, attendance reports, payroll considerations and cost control.
- Analyse and interpret data using ClubReady, including revenue tracking and performance reporting.
- Develop and implement local marketing and promotional initiatives to grow membership.
- Recruit, train and supervise instructors and studio staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Independently make high-level decisions regarding customer service matters and member satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated member concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the studio, equipment and facilities are clean, well-maintained and compliant with safety requirements.
- Provide hands-on support to members where required and oversee retail/product management to enhance the overall studio experience.
- Enforce Boutique Fitness Studios' policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualification and Skills Requirement:
- At least a Diploma in management, business or a comparable degree
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a fitness centre, or similar management role.
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in studio management software (ClubReady or similar).
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for health, fitness and community engagement.
Employment Details
- Position: Full-Time
- Salary: AUD $76,520 per annum plus superannuation
- Performance Incentives: Commission on membership sales and performance-based bonuses
