Ronald McDonald House Sydney is looking for an experienced and passionate Campaigns & Events Coordinator to join our fundraising team and help grow our community fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns and fundraising events.
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with people, building relationships and bringing campaigns and events to life. This role would suit someone with a strong background in events who is also excited by fundraising campaigns and community engagement.

🎯 About the Role
Reporting to the Campaigns & Events Manager, this role will play a key part in:
- growing our community fundraising program
- supporting peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
- coordinating fundraising events and supporter experiences
You’ll work closely with schools, workplaces, community fundraisers, suppliers, volunteers and campaign participants to create engaging fundraising experiences and help drive fundraising outcomes.
This role would suit someone who:

- is highly organised and proactive
- can confidently juggle multiple projects at once
✨ Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and grow community fundraising initiatives including schools, workplaces and community groups
- Support and help manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns including Walk Me Home, SWIM, PAWS and Bookworms
- Work closely with Elevate Fundraising and external suppliers/agencies
- Coordinate donor journeys, supporter engagement and campaign communications
- Support delivery of major fundraising events including:
- Golf Day
- Sports Lunch
- Long Lunch
- Festive Feast
- Coordinate logistics, suppliers, volunteers and supporter experiences
- Attend fundraising events and activations where required
- Contribute creative fundraising and campaign ideas to support growth and engagement
💡 About You
You are:
- Passionate about events, campaigns and community engagement
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
- Someone who can think creatively while also delivering operationally
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
Ideally, you will have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in events, fundraising or campaigns
- Strong event coordination and stakeholder management experience
- Experience engaging supporters, participants or community groups
- A proactive and positive attitude
- The ability to hit the ground running and work collaboratively within a team
Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded but not essential.
