Starting from humble beginnings as a small bootcamp in Surry Hills, today, we are a national brand on a mission to “Inspire Change” in the Global Fitness Industry.
In March 2023, Fitness Playground became One Playground. This change represents our move beyond just fitness, and aesthetics, to become an all-encompassing Playground for all things health and fitness.
We’re in the midst of our biggest growth phase yet, 2025 saw the successful launch of three new Super Boutique clubs in Haymarket, Merrylands, and North Sydney, with even more exciting openings already on the horizon for 2026.

THE ROLE
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Club Manager.
Our Club Managers share our values and lead our growing teams. This pivotal role focuses on achieving outstanding results by empowering and developing our talented individuals, while effectively managing our club operations, facilities, and member experience.
Our multi-service gyms are expansive, with each club consisting of a team of 2-3 Managers, 35+ Personal Trainers, 30+ Group Instructors, and a Membership Team serving 5,000+ members.
This position requires a bold and determined individual who thrives in challenging environments.
Your Key Responsibilities
Business Management
- Oversee the performance across multiple departments including Coaching & Group Fitness.
- Review monthly performance data regarding your club departments (ie. coaching sessions & member class attendance) and identify expansion & development opportunities.
Sales Management
- Lead and manage a world class sales team, to achieve targeted benchmarks through effective Lead Generation, Lead Management, Sales Performance, and Sales Coaching.
- Setting and contributing to targets for attracting new members
Member Experience Management
- Ensure a world-class member experience through efficient management of member account enquiries and debt management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest fitness trends, managing up effectively, providing recommendations to senior leadership to improve member experiences.
People Management
- Foster the growth and development of your team (and new team members) through timely training and one-to-one coaching, ensuring their personal satisfaction and long-term career progression.
- Managing staff, including recruiting, hiring and training new team members
Facility Management
- Uphold a world-class facility, ensuring equipment is serviced, maintained and reported when faulty.

- You have a genuine desire to help people with their health and fitness, and your passion for learning and ongoing development drives your commitment to continuous growth.
