Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is a state-of-the-art recreation centre located in Traralgon, Victoria. We run a variety of fitness and swim programs and memberships to suit adults and children. So whether you're looking for a new gym, group fitness classes, personal training, lap swimming or swimming lessons - we have something for everyone. Reformer Pilates Instructor
As our Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading pilates classes and coaching a wide range of clients. You must have exceptional communication skills to effectively inform and demonstrate the benefits of participating in our reformer classes. For this role, you will require a Pilates Instructor Certification.
Mat Pilates Instructor
As our Mat Pilates Instructor you will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness. You will possess exceptional communication skills and can effectively motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. You will have a deep understanding of various training styles and methods, and can cater to the needs of a wide range of clients during our classes. Our ideal candidate is also highly organised, able to manage their time effectively, and can ensure the smooth running of our classes. For this role, you will require your Pilates Instructor Certification.
Yoga Instructor
We are seeking a Yoga Instructor to join our highly motivated team to bring their previous Yoga experience to our Centre. We are looking for an instructor who can bring their own positive energy to our team, inspire and motivate others to achieve their goals. Our Yoga Instructor will be an integral part in driving a strong community to achieve their health and wellness goals. You will use your knowledge & skills to deliver an amazing experience for our members. Ideally experienced in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga practices.
This is a casual position, with an hourly rate of $56.56 + super + Y benefits.
About you
As our Group Fitness Instructor you will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness. You will possess exceptional communication skills and can effectively motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. You will have a deep understanding of various training styles and methods, and can cater to the needs of a wide range of clients during our classes.
Our ideal candidate is also highly organised, able to manage their time effectively, and can ensure the smooth running of our classes.
Above all, you will be a team player who can bring your own positive energy and enthusiasm to our team!
You will need experience in taking group fitness classes to be successful in this role.
Essential Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader or approved equivalent
- Maintain current AUSactive registration
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
