Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Committee, the Club Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club while providing strategic and operational leadership across membership, community engagement, governance and club administration. Acting as the key liaison between members, volunteers, sponsors and stakeholders, this role will be instrumental in shaping a positive and professional club culture while supporting long-term sustainability and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily club operations, events, bookings and facility usage
- Driving membership growth, retention and engagement initiatives
- Supporting volunteers, committees and stakeholder relationships
- Assisting with financial administration, reporting and operational budgets
- Building sponsorship and community partnership opportunities
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring proven experience within a club, hospitality, sporting or membership-based environment and demonstrate a genuine passion for community engagement and operational excellence. You will be a hands-on and approachable leader who thrives in collaborative, volunteer-driven environments and enjoys building meaningful relationships.
