Golf Performance Trainer / Golf Fitness Professional
Ultimate Golf Performance is seeking a Golf Performance Trainer to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in golf performance, strength & conditioning and long-term development within a performance-focused business, who is open to structured onboarding, education and progression within our system.
Role structure
• Role will commence as a subcontractor position
• Part-time to start, with opportunity to build hours
• Structured onboarding and development pathway
• Long-term pathway within the business for the right person
About the role
• Deliver golf-specific strength and conditioning sessions (once onboarding competencies are met)
• Deliver golf technique analysis and speed training sessions using launch monitors and force plates (progressive exposure)
• Work closely with golfers ranging from amateurs to elite players
• Weekend availability required
•Opportunity to build within the business rather than short-term casual hours
Onboarding and development pathway
• This role includes a structured onboarding and internal training process
• Further education and certifications will be required to align with our performance systems
• We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals willing to undertake this development
• Approximate onboarding and education timeframe is 12 to 24 months
• Coaching responsibilities will be phased in as key certifications, competencies and internal standards are completed
• Ongoing mentoring and practical exposure provided throughout the process
Requirements
• Must be a Full PGA Vocational Member (or willingness to obtain) Applications from PGA Associates will also be considered
• Cert III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain
• Experience using launch monitor technology such as TrackMan, FlightScope or GCQuad (or willingness to learn)
• Exposure to 3D biomechanics and force / pressure mapping systems is highly regarded
• Strong interest in golf performance and athletic development
• Willingness to undertake further study and professional development
• Good communication skills and coachability
• Long-term mindset and desire to grow within a team

About Us
Ultimate Golf Performance operates under Ultimate Golf Holdings, a performance-focused group bridging the worlds of golf and high-level strength training.
Our methodology blends gym-based strength and power development with golf-specific movement analysis. Conceptually similar to TPI, but with a stronger emphasis on building real force, power and athletic capacity and transferring it directly into the golf swing.
Athletes train across both environments:
• Strength and power development in the gym
• Movement, swing and performance integration in the golf studio and simulator
Our facility is based in Cheltenham VIC, in the heart of the Melbourne Sandbelt, operating out of a state-of-the-art golf performance and strength training environment.
