THE ROLE
At the Sanctuary Cove Country Club, we provide the ultimate training and recreation environment with the latest gymnasium equipment, 4 air conditioned training rooms including cardio room, weight training room, secluded yoga studio and group fitness room, 5 flood lit tennis courts, 25 metre heated pool, private spas and saunas, specialised treatment rooms, first class Kidz Club and our highly trained professional trainers and staff. Members are our greatest asset and we pride ourselves on client relations and maintaining a constant flow of information in and around our Club.
The Kids Club attendant provides a safe, fun and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians use the Country Club facilities. The role involves supervising children, organising activities, ensuring the Kids Club is clean and secure, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for both kids and parents
Key Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
- Oversee children during activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Provide support and guidance to children, helping them develop social skills and confidence.
- Develop and implement fun and educational activities tailored to various age groups. Respond promptly to children’s needs, including comforting upset children or attending to minor injuries.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their children’s activities and any concerns.
- Nappy changing.
- Performing opening and closing procedures as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the Kids Club area.
- Take care of your health and safety and ensure the safety and wellbeing of others is not put at risk by your actions or omissions, comply with reasonable instructions provided by Mulpha in the interests of health and safety, including the reporting of injuries, incidents and hazards promptly (at least within 24 hours), and cooperate with Mulpha to meet its health, safety and environmental duties and responsibilities.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is often preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage and motivate children.
- First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- Blue Card is required
