The Business and Data Specialist is a key support role responsible for managing a range of local data requests across the Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific regions. The primary objective of this role is to enhance data quality within EssilorLuxottica corporate systems.
This includes maintaining Luxottica Retail data across multiple platforms in a timely and accurate manner, as well as promptly identifying and resolving system interface errors. The role also provides specialised support for assortment and implementation activities across the AUNZ brand portfolio, along with planning support across all ANZ banners.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage retail, product, pricing, and customer data across SAP, BI, and LSS systems
- Support assortment, implementation, and planning activities across ANZ brands
- Monitor and resolve system errors (SAP, POS, IDOCs) to ensure data accuracy and continuity
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and insights to support business decisions
- Support inventory, stock modelling, and replenishment processes
- Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to resolve data issues and improve processes
- Maintain documentation and deliver training to business users where required
About You
- Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Proven experience in data administration, reporting, or business analysis
- Comfortable working across systems such as SAP or similar
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
