Lead. Teach. Build community.
About Aleenta
Aleenta Health Club is a boutique multi-studio wellness business with studios across Adelaide and Melbourne. We've been around for over 11 years, and in that time we've built something we're genuinely proud of.
We offer Reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, barre, yoga and cardio dance classes in welcoming, no-pretension studios where you'll be greeted by name and leave feeling better than when you walked in. Our team is the reason people keep coming back, and we take that seriously.
The Role
We're looking for a Studio Manager who also teaches. Not a manager who occasionally fills in on the reformer, and not a teacher who reluctantly does some admin. Someone who genuinely loves both - leading a team and leading a class.
Our CBD studio has a unique rhythm. It's early-morning office workers, lunchtime regulars, and after-work decompressors. The schedule needs to work around the city, and so do you. You'll own the studio experience from the moment the lights go on to the moment the doors lock - and you'll teach a regular load of Reformer Pilates classes each week.
This is a hands-on role. You'll manage the teachers, be accountable for studio KPIs, and create a community at the Studio. Corporate partnerships are a real opportunity here. We need someone confident walking into a nearby office, shaking hands, and building relationships that bring members through the door.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day running of the CBD studio - team, timetable, maintenance, client experience
- Teach a regular weekly load of Reformer Pilates classes (approx. 10–15 classes per week)
- Own studio KPIs
- Develop and performance-manage your teaching team
- Build and maintain corporate partnerships with nearby CBD businesses
- Ensure every member feels welcomed, known, and looked after
- Be accountable for studio membership sales targets — from intro pass conversion through to ongoing retention — and be confident leading that conversation naturally
- Manage the intro-to-member conversion journey - follow up with new clients, close the loop
- Maintain studio presentation and equipment to a high standard
- Communicate proactively with the Operations Manager on performance, issues and opportunities
- Contribute to local marketing efforts - community events, social content, local partnerships
Who You Are
- Qualified Pilates instructor with solid Reformer Pilates teaching experience (minimum 2 years)
- Experience managing a studio, retail or hospitality venue - you understand service, rosters and accountability
- Commercially minded - you understand that a full class is a good class and you know how to get there
- Warm, direct and genuinely people-oriented - not the corporate, clipboard type
- Confident building relationships - with members, your team, and the businesses around you
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure
- Aligned with Aleenta's values.
If this sound like you, please send your CV and a covering letter to kylie@aleenta.club.
