Purruna Spencer Newton Centre are on the lookout for passionate and certified Yoga Instructors to join our vibrant team!
We are a vibrant community hub dedicated to promoting health and wellness for individuals of all ages. Our facility is located in Torrens Park, and offers a diverse array of wellness programs for our community.
As a Yoga Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, engaging, and effective group classes in a supportive and welcoming environment. You’ll build meaningful connections with participants, adapt sessions to suit a range of abilities, and play an active role in fostering motivation, confidence and wellbeing.
As a Yoga Instructor, reporting to the Pilates Studio Manager, you will be:
Conducting dynamic group Yoga classes that cater to various skill levels;
Ensuring the safety and appropriateness of exercises for all participants;
Building strong connections with class members to foster motivation and engagement;
Promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere in every session; and
Contributing to the development and growth of our wellness programs.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have:
Yoga Certification
Professional Registration with applicable governing body (or willing to obtain)
HLTAID009 Provide CPR (or willing to obtain)
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN-EC) Masterclass training (or willing to obtain)
Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and work under pressure
Capable of communicating complex services and concepts efficiently and effectively
