We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime B2B Activation Manager to join our friendly and skilled Marketing team based at our Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this brand-new key appointment is responsible for spearheading our marketing strategy and initiatives targeting healthcare practitioner customers (HCPs). This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies that deepen engagement, enhance brand awareness, foster advocacy, and drive sales through practitioner channels, with an emphasis on digital marketing, content creation, education and events.
We are entering an exciting new phase of growth, and therefore seek a passionate, driven and commercially astute Brand Manager with B2B digital capability with the ability to continue to challenge, influence and embrace our exciting evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to health practitioners engaged in natural health solutions, including naturopaths, dieticians, chiropractors, integrative GPs and others, which are aligned to brand plans and priorities, and to achieve targets.
- Digital Marketing: Execute digital marketing strategies in collaboration with the digital, sales, customer marketing and education team including email campaigns, social media, webinars, and content marketing, to engage HCPs and educate them on Metagenics’ benefits, science and competitive advantages, and increase transition to metagenics.com.au and sign up to Patient Connect.
- Innovation: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for the innovation pipeline, incorporating positioning, messaging, pricing, educational content, and promotional tactics tailored to healthcare professionals. Continuously monitor performance metrics and practitioner feedback to improve performance if needed, and to refine and optimise strategies for future launches.
- Content Development: Collaborate with global and regional education teams, and creative team to lead delivery of digital content, educational materials, clinical guides and case studies that resonate with health practitioners.
- Lead Generation: Develop strategies for lead generation and nurturing within the healthcare community, leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Events: Lead events plan, identifying relevant HCP events and objectives, aligned to overarching HCP strategy. Collaborate with Event Specialist to deliver HCP-targeted events such as webinars, seminars, conferences, and industry trade shows to build brand visibility, foster relationships and drive awareness of Patient Connect.
- Market Intelligence: Understand the needs, trends, and challenges of healthcare professionals, ensuring marketing strategies are aligned with industry demands and business objectives.
- Metrics & Analytics: Track, analyse and report on the performance of HCP marketing campaigns, using insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
- Leadership: Coach and mentor Assistant Brand Manager to build capability, prioritise the team’s workload and unblock barriers to ensure the team is successful in achieving KPIs and goals.
- Best practice: Connect and collaborate with global HCP marketing peers in the broader Metagenics organisation to share, leverage and deliver best practice and efficiencies
Skills and experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
- Experience working in FMCG or Pharmacy Channels, highly desired though not essential
- Solid experience in B2B Marketing
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns including B2B marketing automation programs
- Understanding of digital marketing tools (email platforms, social media, SEO, etc.) and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data to solve problems and inform decision-making and strategy.
- Experience in content creation for B2B customers and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling marketing messages, in line with brand tone and relevant to customers.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and deliver in budget
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and delivering NPD (New Product) launch support campaigns
- Experience in consumer and/or healthcare professional journey mapping and building communications and messaging to reach target audiences along their journey.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and implement innovative strategies to build business success
- Great interpersonal and communication skills that can scale to a range of different audiences
