As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide safe, evidence‑based and person‑centred care to older clients. You will support clients in their own homes and local communities to maintain independence, mobility and participation in everyday activities.
This role also contributes to the wider allied health team through equipment support, administrative tasks, and quality improvement initiatives. The position is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis, ideally you will be available at last 3 days per week.
About the Role:
- Deliver delegated therapy and support activities to clients in home and community settings
- Assist with the use, maintenance and provision of aids, equipment and assistive technology
- Provide timely feedback regarding client progress, changes in status and need for therapy progression
- Work collaboratively with clients, families and carers to ensure supports are person‑centred
- Support health promotion and prevention activities as delegated
- Manage and prioritise an allocated caseload within scope of practice
- Complete clinical and administrative documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements

What do we need from you?
- Cert IV in Allied Health or equivalent
- Experience in Aged Care or Community work highly regarded
- Own vehicle and comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Australian Driver licence
- First Aid & CPR
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
