Health and Wellbeing Queensland is seeking a Principal Evaluation and Insights Lead to shape how we measure and learn from our work across complex systems.
In this dynamic role, you'll lead the design, implementation, and refinement of innovative evaluations that explore change at individual, community, and systems levels.
Collaborating across portfolios and with external partners, you'll translate diverse data into meaningful insights aligned with HWQld's Measuring Change Framework. With a focus on participatory and complexity-aware approaches, you'll deliver high-quality evaluations, support organisational learning, and contribute to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.

Your opportunity
As the Principal Lead - Evaluation and Insights you will be involved in:
- Leading and supporting collaboratively-designed, fit-for-purpose evaluations across programs, projects and strategic initiatives, using developmental, participatory and systems-informed approaches.
- Working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgement across initiatives to embed evaluation into planning, implementation and learning cycles, supporting system influence and impact.
- Providing advice and guidance, and undertake mixed-method evaluation and analysis activities, including surveys, interviews, ripple effects mapping, contribution analysis and story-based methods, to generate meaningful insights.
