Kwinana Recquatic boasts impressive facilities and programs that cater to all ages and abilities. Sporting three indoor heated pools including a hydrotherapy pool, beach entry leisure pool with whirlpool, 25m lap pool and spa and steam rooms. Creche and a two-court sporting stadium. State of the art weights and cardo studios (including the latest Technogym equipment), stretch, spin and functional training studios, over 60 group fitness classes, and so much more!

SWIM INSTRUCTORS
Kwinana Swim School is a Royal Life Saving endorsed swim school delivering the Infant and Preschool Aquatics and Swim and Survive Programs. We are a term-based Swim School which provides more flexibility for the team. Swim School Instructors at Kwinana Recquatic are proud to help swimmers achieve new skills and celebrate their milestones. They are positive role models to the community and contribute to our great team. As our swim school continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic instructors to join our team. The successful appointee must be an adaptable and experienced Austswim/Royal Life Saving WA accredited instructor. They must also thrive working in a very busy environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Royal Life Saving WA Swim Teacher
- Extension of qualification or demonstrated willingness to attain: Austswim Teacher of Adults, Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Aquatic Access and Inclusion or Competitive Strokes
- Current Working with Children Check, Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
POOL LIFEGUARDS
The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean aquatic environment and providing Centre operations support. Pool Lifeguards have a strong customer focus and knowledge of all Centre programs to communicate to the Centre patrons. Pool Lifeguards also communicate with individual and group users on lane allocation and appropriate use of the water space.
Qualifications:
- Pool Lifeguard
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS
The Group Fitness Instructor has a high level of member engagement, interacting before, during and after class. The position organises, leads group exercise classes and ensures appropriate exercise prescription and choreographed classes. Group Fitness Instructors will motivate clients and create a fun, uplifting environment for members to return to the Centre.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL) or other Program Certification (Pilates and Aqua Aerobics)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
GYM INSTRUCTORS – PERSONAL TRAINERS
The Gym Instructor has a high level of member engagement, interacting on the gym floor and actively communicating with members. The Gym Instructor will also maintain a safe and clean gym environment for members. The position is also responsible for designing safe and effective individual training plans and health assessments using MyWellness software system.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Certificate IV in Fitness, (desirable for Gym Instructor, essential for Personal Training)
- Registration with Fitness Australia
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
UMPIRES (SOCCER AND NETBALL)
Umpires officiate sports competitions in a professional, unbiased manner and assist in maintaining a safe environment for all sports teams taking part in social sports competitions. The Sport Umpire/Referee has a high level of player engagement, interacting before, during and after games. Our Umpires' role is to ensure our Social Sports competitions stay social and they create a fun and enjoyable environment for all teams and players.
Qualifications:
- Certification in sport dependant umpiring/refereeing
- Badged Certification preferred (A, B or C)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS
Customer Service Officers provide exceptional customer service and are the first contact point for our community. They respond to customer requests in a positive and professional manner. Engage in meaningful conversation to actively identify customer needs. Implement the Member Engagement Strategy and customer orientated sales strategies to increase patronage of programs and services. The position has an extensive understanding of all Centre operations, member engagement, programs and services and provides administrative support to all areas.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Customer Service or Business Administration desirable
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance
