This role is the key facilitator for planning, designing, authoring and delivering the educational content and programs required for the successful and continuous development of the KX Institute (KXI).
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and with the KXI student experience at the centre, the KXI Education Manager is responsible for driving the evolution, quality, relevance, commercial viability and compliance of all education content.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum development and implementation
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with KXI strategic goals and compliant with relevant standards.
- Translate industry trends and insights into innovative course content that addresses current and future market needs.
- Ensure curriculum reflects KX’s brand values and delivers an exceptional learning experience.
- Lead the end‑to‑end content roadmap planning process, including prioritising future modules, defining the rationale for sequencing, and outlining long‑term product pathways.
- Assess content opportunities through a commercial lens—evaluating market demand, student value, competitive positioning and financial viability before content is initiated.
- Create structured module release plans (quarterly/annual) that consider staffing capacity, development timelines, compliance requirements and broader organisational priorities.
- Supervise, support and participate when required in training videos, content production (photography & videography) when needed
- Be available to travel as required (travel may be involved in AU and or KX International markets for purpose of supporting set up or ongoing training of Educators and / or learners
- Develop training programs and concepts to scale and to train international partners and / or affiliates with delivering courses to KX Institute standard.
Quality assurance
- Ensure curriculum quality, consistency and compliance with training package rules, industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Implement continuous improvement processes based on data, feedback and learner outcomes.
- Attend events, expos and interviews as required
Educator and mentor support, facilitation and professional development
- Provide coaching, leadership and development opportunities for KXI educators to elevate teaching practice and student outcomes.
- Develop and deliver professional development programs that enhance instructional quality.
- Direct and support mentors within the KX Network on best‑practice engagement with KXI students.
- Manage mentor engagement and ER matters.
Collaboration and communication
- Facilitate collaboration across mentors, administrators and other stakeholders to align curriculum content and learning objectives.
- Work closely with commercial, operations and product stakeholders to ensure educational content aligns with organisational strategy and commercial objectives.
Program evaluation
- Oversee and regularly evaluate KXI programs, using data to drive continuous improvement and strategic planning.
- Use learner analytics, performance data and market insights to inform the future content roadmap and commercial decision‑making.
Resource and information management
- Manage and streamline curriculum resources, documentation and content‑development workflows.
Essential Skills
- Cert IV in Pilates Education
- 3+ years experience in Educational Technology
- Leadership & management: Ability to provide professional leadership, manage people and resources, and oversee curriculum development processes.
- Analytical & strategic thinking: Strong skills in evaluating curriculum, conducting mapping analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, program development and educational evaluation.
- Commercial acumen: Ability to evaluate content ideas based on market demand, business impact, operational feasibility and student value; experience applying a commercial lens to program development.
- Product & roadmap planning: Capability to design and manage an educational content roadmap, prioritising modules and forecasting development timelines. Strong planning discipline to ensure timely delivery.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and implement systematic processes.
